Quick Shopping List - Version 4.5
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This program is a Visual Basic application that makes preparing
shopping lists easier and faster. The file QSHOP.EXE can exist
in any directory, but I suggest you create a special directory for
it such as C:\QSHOP or something similar. The first time the
program runs, it will create other *.DAT files in the same directory.
The easiest way to try this program out is to create a directory
called c:\QSHOP, copy all the unzipped files into that directory,
then from the file manager, double click on QSHOP.EXE. This program
requires the file VBRUN300.DLL. You probably already have this file
in your windows\system directory. If not, you'll need to download from
your BBS.
This program is shareware, not freeware. CopyRight 1995 by Roger D.
McCook, 40 Emily Drive, Lilburn Georgia 30247. All rights reserved
except that users may use an unregistered copy to see if they like it.
Once the trial period expires, users should either register the product
with the author or delete the files from their hard disk.
To register by CompuServe, go to the Shareware Registration database,
find product # 4993, and register it. CompuServe will charge your account
for $10.00 and notify the author of your registration. Note: There is a
charge of $2.50 for shipping and handling if you live outside the USA.
If you prefer, you can register directly with the author by sending a
check or money order for $10.00 to :
McCook Software

Regardless of how you register, the author will send you an original
installation diskette and your registration #. Registration entitles you
to product support via CompuServe or mail. In addition, you will be able
to use your registration # on any future versions of this program at
no additional cost to you.
This is how I suggest you set the program up if you are downloading from
CompuServe:
1) Create a directory c:\QSHOP
2) Copy all the files that are unzipped into that directory.
3) Any files that have the extention .vbx or .dll could be copied
to your c:\windows\system directory but make sure that you are not
copying over a more recent file with the same name.
4) To run the program, double click on QSHOP.EXE.
To set up a program item in your program manager, Click on File, Click on
New, Click on Program Item. For the File Name, enter
C:\QSHOP\QSHOP.EXE (if that's what it is). The working directory will
be C:\QSHOP. Click OK. That's all there is to it.
Make sure you get rid of QSHOP.ZIP. You no longer need this file after
you have unzipped it.
